Krapopolis (2023) Review

Krapopolis (2023)

Genre: Comedy

Me rates it: 3.98/5

Season 1 Episode 1

Me rates it: 3.9/5

An attractive start to the sitcom, lays high expectations for later episodes.

Season 1 Episode 2

Me rates it: 4.2/5

Consist amount of comedy along the episode that keeps it entertaining, extra points for the last bit.

Season 1 Episode 3

Me rates it: 4.1/5

I would say nothing impressive happened, but man, it went quickly, and that’s kinda the point for comedies: to kill time.

Season 1 Episode 4

Me rates it: 4.3/5

You know it’s good when the mom has the Malory Archer oomph in it.

Season 1 Episode 5

Me rates it: 3.4/5

It’s a great one, but the standards being that I’m stuck in a courtroom, but oof can’t get enough of the end credits don’t miss those

Season 1 Episode 6

Me rates it: 3.8/5

Oh, it’s politically correct okay, focused a bit too much on it though?

Season 1 Episode 7

Me rates it: 4.6/5

“Deetie” might be my new favorite phrase. Gosh, why is this episode so good? It has given me many defined laughs. I haven’t lowered my expectations yet.

Season 1 Episode 8

Me rates it: 4.2/5

This one has more mind blowers than jokes, but ay I am in for it.

Season 1 Episode 9

Me rates it: 3.8/5

I could imagine this episode teaching teens a few things about politics and critical thinking. Is my 21 yr old brain too old for this?

Season 1 Episode 10

Me rates it: 3.2/5

It’s surprisingly hasty for me to lose interest if the plot isn’t the most interesting. And yes, I gotta admit the episode before this one does influence ratings quite a bit…

Season 1 Episode 11

Me rates it: 3.9/5

Props to the creative interpretation that tells a true and real story, despite being hinted again, and again, it seems that the public doesn’t quite get the idea of making their phones work for them instead of the other way around. Though some might argue that the idea has been overused.

Season 1 Episode 12

Me rates it: 4.4/5

Wasn’t expecting the plot to turn out like this, it just makes sense… building on the previous episode, this one makes us rethink our life choices, and echoes the previous ones, questioning whether how important it is for people to climb the social ladder and what people are willing to give up in exchange.

As always, try lowering your expectations, and just enjoy the movie together or alone.
